I am currently Orchestra Director at Arcadia High School (boasting one of the largest school string programs in the state) and the Conductor of the Pasadena Youth String Orchestra. I have been teaching private violin lessons since I was 14 years old and have taught students of all ages--from 4 years old to 50 years old. I am easy-going, have a great sense of humor, have a great ear (perfect pitch) and can pay great attention to detail. My strictness and demand levels for my private students are dependent upon how serious about music you are--whether you are doing it just for fun or to prepare for a career as a musician. I am also the President and Founder of Crescendo Young Musicians Guild, a non-profit youth music education and community service organization. Background ~Northwestern University: Bachelor of Music in Music Education with Department Honors. Instrumental and General Music concentrations. Lesson Information Lessons available for violin (beginning through advanced), viola (beginning through intermediate), piano (beginning), conducting (beginning through intermediate), and music theory/ear training. Lessons are taught at my home in the Mid-Wilshire/Koreatown area or at student's home for a traveling fee depending on distance. Availability: Weekdays after 3:30pm and weekends. Lesson Rates
